Whether this was intentional or not is open for debate, however Adobe obviously wasn't thinking about their customers who use Fuse to create SFM and GMOD characters. Most of the very limited samples of hair and clothing content in Adobe Fuse CC, were just copied from Fuse 1.3's much larger content data base.įar worse is the fact Adobe has abandoned Source Filmmaker and Garry's Mod download formats in thier new Fuse CC.Īdobe has said their new characters are incompatible with SFM and GMOD formats, and they stated that there are no future plans at all to fix this issue. It does have a couple of major improvements over Steam's Fuse 1.3 but it's a lot lighter in actual content too.

Some of the improvements I really liked were the hair clipping fix and manual mesh manipulation features, and finally being able to export the textures as well. Originally posted by ''VengenceARTS'':Adobe fuse is awesome, its the best character creator I have ever seen for a program'' I have to disagree with you about Adobe Fuse CC being "awesome". So in conclusion, I'm not sure why most of you guys think we should use MakeHuman instead of Fuse.but after what I've experienced with that program, I'd rather stray away from MH and give Fuse a try. MakeHuman only has two export options-Blender and 3DSMax-whereas Fuse gives you the option to directly export your finished models to Blender, 3DSMax, Garry's Mod, Source Filmmaker, and even other 3D modeling programs such as Daz and Unity.

The clothing options in MH are incredibly limited, and the same goes for the hair (sadly there's no options for facial hair, so those of you wanting to make a neckbeard Brony in MakeHuman may as well do it in Fuse.).ģ. Also there's no way of editing the face so MH's models all have a blank "Thousand Yard Stare" expression.Ģ. The models look fugly not even changing the skin texture will make them look any less hideous. I'll give you all a rundown on the things that made me turn away from the program you're wanting people to use:ġ. I've messed around with MakeHuman before and it left me with a sour taste in my mouth-even after I uninstalled it. After Fuse and Mixamo were bought by Adobe, one of the arguments I've seen in this particular thread is that you shouldn't use this program but MakeHuman instead, as it is apparently better than Fuse.
